PERSON CENTRED THERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING
Where your feelings count.

This approach enables the client to understand and address their problem with gentle guidance, not advice, from the Counsellor. This helps the client restore confidence and belief within themselves in their own ability to cope. Most of the time, clients will find the answers within, with just a little help from the cousellor. Strict rules of confidentiality are applied at all times. An initial session is used to assess the needs of an individual and whether the Person-Centred approach feels right for them.

Counselling and self development

As well as a long history in counselling, I have studied self development extensivly. Believe it or not all things lay in the subconscious. Whether it be building self confidence or finding the root of a problem.

The first step is to become aware of what you are thinking and not only why, but where the thoughts are coming from. Is it a conscious thought or does it come from the subconscious. Our subconscious controls all of us to a large extent and the first step is becoming aware of where the thoughts are coming from.

I can take you further than just problem solving. Building confidence can change your life. Belief in yourself will take you further than you realise.
I also follow Buddhism. Did you know that Buddha civilised people 600 years before Christ and without the fear of God. Buddhism is not really a religion as there is no God. But it is very much like modern self development. The parth to enlightenment, is in reality self develpopment.

Buddhism: A Path of Awakening

While I am not here to teach Buddhism, it is something that you may wish to explore and I can help you with it. It is most certainly a great help with modern day pressures.

Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development that originated in India 2,500 years ago from the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha or "Awakened One".

Buddhists believe that life is full of suffering caused by ignorance, attachment, and craving, and that the way to end suffering is to follow the Eightfold Path of ethical conduct, wisdom, and meditation.

Buddhism is a non-theistic religion or path, that teaches awareness, kindness, wisdom, and the emptiness of reality.
